“The Governor” controller has been designed to offer a set point, automatic dosing of disinfectant, into your swimming pool, spa or water feature.
Dosing manually or semi-automatically cannot maintain a constant level of sanitation in your pool.
“The Governor” will also prevent over sanitatizing of your pool or spa. As heating your pool or spa requires longer running times, “The Governor” will turn off the sanitatizer when the set level is reached, therefore preventing excessive levels of chlorine or bromine entering the pool or spa.
“The Governor” has been developed to minimize the health risks associated with poor regular treatment of your pool and spa by governoring and controlling the output of the salt water chlorinators, liquid chlorinators etc.
How Does The Governor Work
By electronic measurement, “The Governor” can control the level of chlorine or bromine in your swimming pool or spa, giving you consistent results.
“The Governor” now displays the O.R.P. reading, allowing the user to precisely set the appropriate level of chlorine or bromine you wish to have in the swimming pool or spa. The unit will now automatically control your chlorinator or brominator as the level of sanitation demands, over or below the set point.
As the correct chemical balance of your swimming pool or spa water is important for the bathers, it is also important for the correct operation of “The Governor”. This means that the total alkalinity, calcium hardness and pH, should be maintained at the appropriate levels as recommended by your professional pool technician. The cyanuric acid levels should not exceed 45PPM. Levels higher than 45PPM will effect the efficiency of “The Governor”.
